Local HS artists at Portsmouth Arts Guild

The Portsmouth Arts Guild will be hosting a new show, “Emerging Artists III,” featuring artwork by area high school students from today through March 8. The opening reception is this Sunday, March 1st, from 2 to 4pm. Refreshments will be provided, and the event is free and open to the public.

Participating schools include Portsmouth, Middletown, and Tiverton high schools as well as St. George’s and Portsmouth Abbey. The works were chosen by the art teachers and represent a variety of media including 3D, drawing, photography, and painting.

Regular gallery hours are Thursday through Sunday from 1 to 5pm. The gallery is accessible, and there's parking across the street at East Main Studio.
