Our wicked awesome Senator Jack Reed is hosting a workshop on college financial aid at 7pm this Monday, December 15 on the campus of CCRI Warwick (map). The free, 90-minute presentation will feature RI Treasurer Frank Caprio and representatives of the RI Student Loan and Higher Education Assistance authorities, and will cover the Federal financial aid forms, deadlines, and qualifying for grants and loans.

This free forum will teach students and parents about aid that is available at the federal and state levels; the eligibility criteria for these different types of aid; and how students can go about applying for such aid. The event will last from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Room 4080 at the Knight Campus of CCRI at 400 East Avenue in Warwick. Click here to view the flyer about the event.
