Forum on Aquidneck Island water tonight

Two local organizations are sponsoring a free open forum on protecting Aquidneck Island's drinking water this evening from 7-9pm at the Seaman's Institute Church in Newport. From the release:

ALN [The Alliance for a Livable Newport], with the Aquidneck Island Watershed Council, will present a forum on the importance of protecting the Island's drinking water sources. Ted Clement of the Aquidneck Land Trust and Meg Kerr of the Narragansett Bay Estuary Project will lead a panel discussion with representatives from Newport, Middletown and Portsmouth on what citizens and local governments can do to insure the future of potable water for Aquidneck Island.

If you are concerned about our water supply, please attend and bring friends and family.
