Current and retired members of the Portsmouth Poilce Department served as pallbearers.

Retired Portsmouth Police Chief John T. Pierce was laid to rest this morning in Trinity Cemetery, with full military honors provided by the Navy and RI National Guard, in a ceremony attended by scores of family and friends and dozens of members of local and state law enforcmement.
