Weekend fun at Melville, District 72

This could be one of your last nice weekends to be out and about, so why not take advantage of the 60-degree weather and head on out to a couple of fun events.

Melville Fall Festival
Today, Saturday October 25, is the Fall Festival, at the school at 1351 West Main Road from 10am to 3pm, rain or shine. It's Melville's yearly FUN-draiser, and you can enjoy great stuff like...

- Creative Crafts	- Face Painting - Cake Walk
- Pumpkin Patch - Silent Auction	- Haunted House
- Basket Raffle - Bake Table - Prize Booth
- Yummy eats - 50/50 Raffle - Games Galore

... and much, much more!

Melville will be collecting non-perishable food items for their annual Food Drive, and you can get a free game ticket to use at the Fall Festival for every two items donated. So bring along your non-perishable items to the festival.

District 72 Family Fun Day
Tomorrow, Sunday October 26, the Amy Rice campaign is sponsoring a family fun day for District 72 at Howland Park (at the corner of Wapping and Third Beach Rd.) from 2-4pm. Meet Amy and her special guest, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, get some cool treats from Pete the Ice Cream Guy, and have some fun.

That's a great park, so bring your kids, friends, and animals. Rice promises "No speeches" but donations are, of course, accepted. She's running for re-election and deserves our support.
