Primary day in Portsmouth -- please vote

Today is an important Democratic primary election in Portsmouth, and all polling places will be open 7am to 9 pm, so please get out and vote if you are a registered Democrat or unaffiliated. You can find your polling place at the RI Voter Info Center.

Bottom line: Local media and school advocacy group SOS have endorsed Cortvriend and Wedge. This page and SOS support Thomas Vadney as the best candidate despite his past affiliation with the Portsmouth Concerned Citizens.

Please also remember to vote for Senator Jack Reed who is facing a primary challenger. And depending where in Portsmouth you live, you may see Jay Edwards, Ray Gallison, or Amy Rice on the ballot, all of whom deserve support from local Democrats.
