Tomorrow night from 7-9 pm at the Hotel Viking in Newport, there will be an open meeting of the Newport Energy and Environment Commission. While the group does focus on the city, according to spokesperson Beth Milham, all residents of Newport County are invited. From the release:

Meet the Commission, hear our priorities and goals for this year, offer suggestions, and share information, and your concerns, projects and accomplishments. Think about how you can help us with our work, and let us know how we can support your work, too.

Liquid refreshments will be available at the cash bar, and the hotel will be featuring their organic and locally grown snacks and desserts!
