The official groundbreaking for Portsmouth's wind turbine will be tomorrow at 4pm, in the field above the Portsmouth High School tennis courts off Education Lane.

"There is a lot of work to do before we start making electricity, but putting a shovel in the ground is a very tangible milestone that culminates over three years of intense effort to ensure that this project is a 'revenue generator' for the Town," said Gary Gump, Chair of the Town Economic Development Committee’s Sustainable Energy Subcommittee, in a statement released to the media.
