Welcome Eclipse, a beautiful tabby-and-red torbie, the newest member of our family, picked up from the Potter League in Middletown yesterday. Just six months old and still recovering from her recent spaying, so we're keeping her in the bathroom (that's her sleeping in the laundry hamper) as we plan her introduction to Curiosity, who is now, at one-year-old, the senior cat.

We still miss Blackie who died last week, but we felt it was a good thing for all of us to have someone to keep Curi company. And, as always, the folks at the Potter League were great. The construction on their new building is really coming along, too. It's going to be awesome.
