Well, it's sort of a rite of passage for New Englanders, so I figured it was time to introduce Jack to the delightful gentian-root flavor of Moxie. He was, putting it mildly, unimpressed. I had prepped him by explaining that it was sort of like root beer. He made a very yucky face and said, "Dad. That tastes nothing like root beer."
