Middletown's Island Books will be celebrating its 20th anniversary with a champagne toast, cake, and a 20% off sale at an open house on Thursday, March 14 from 5-7pm, according to an e-mail sent today.

"It's our way of saying thanks for 20 great years as Aquidneck Island's Independent Bookstore," says the announcement.
