The concert was organized by professional actor/musicians Laurie Davidson Spaner, daughter of Dr. Davidson, and her husband Craig Spaner of Portsmouth who have many years experience performing in the Boston area as well as RI, NY, and CT. Joining Mr. & Mrs. Spaner in the group of singers, dancers, and band members will be Kim Kekligian Stamoulis, Sara Moore, Blake Allan, & Abby Moore of Portsmouth, Lily Ferreira of Middletown, Adam Cavalieri, a Bristol native, Kendra Alati, Emma Boroson, James, Tallach, Gary Ryan, Tim Mcshea, from the Boston area, and, several other professional musicians. Stage Door Dance students will dance to a live performance, choreographed by Leslie Zeile.

The Dr. Robert A. Davidson Charitable Fund was formed in memory of Dr. Robert A. Davidson, known to most as Bob or Dr. D., who was a Portsmouth resident who practiced dentistry in Tiverton for 37 years. The fund is dedicated to raising money for local community causes. Bob was dedicated to his family and his community, especially children, so the organizations chosen seemed a perfect fit. Also, seven of Dr. Davidson’s grandchildren attend Elementary & Middle school in Portsmouth and two more will be entering the school system.
