Portsmouth's Bristol Ferry Town Common cleanup on Saturday

On Saturday, Oct 23, the Bristol Ferry Town Common committee will hold their annual Fall cleanup from 9:30am-11am at the Common, on the northern end of Bristol Ferry Rd., according to a press release from chair Doug Smith.

According to Smith, "We plan to use this occasion to unveil our new informational sign at the Common. Attached is some historical background to the Bristol Ferry area and the Town Common itself, which dates back to 1714." The unveiling is scheduled for 10am.

The committee welcomes help with the cleanup effort, and suggests that if you want to pitch in, please bring a pair of gloves.
