Last weekend push for referendum signatures

According to a post on the SOS web site, the referendum signature drive enters its final weekend still about 400 signatures short of the goal, with less than 5 days left until the Wednesday deadline.

"Let's really step up our game and bring this referendum successfully home," SOS organizer David Croston said on the site. "We will be at the Transfer Station from 7:00 [Saturday] morning, at Sandy Point Beach from about 8:30, and in your neighborhood! Let's double our effort!"

Have to give a big thank you to the David Segal campaign. They were planning to canvass voters in the north end of town this weekend, and when he came to Portsmouth on Wednesday, his staff offered to help collect signatures. You'll see us walking with them in Island Park and Common Fence Point later today!
