Portsmouth: Let's Save Our Schools [update]

Save the date: Next Wednesday night, June 9 at 7pm, there will be an information session for parents and school supporters concerned about the recent budget action by the Town Council. Location is TBD. Will post more info as soon as it's available.
Do you remember that scene in the Blues Brothers where Jake says, "We're putting the band back together?"
Update: Meeting will be at the Portsmouth Middle School's Little Theater.

Band? There won't be any Band. Or sports.
The Blues Brothers "putting the band back together" is an apt metaphor. If the town council's arbitrary 1.2 million cut to the school stands, on top of its already pared down budget, there will be no band. And no sports. Save our Schools!
