There will be a PTO information session for parents of incoming 4-6th grade students at Portsmouth Middle School (PMS) on Thursday, June 10, according to a note distributed on district listservs. The session is being organized by the PMS parent-teacher organization, and will be held in the Little Theatre from 7-8:15pm.

Learn about the existing social and extracurricular events happening at the Middle School.

Give us input (particularly incoming 4th and 5th grade parents) as to what events, activities and traditions you might like to see continue or happen at the Middle School.

Get an overview of the upcoming orientation plans and have general questions answered from the PMS Principal, Mr. Amaral.

Go on a short tour. If you have not been to PMS before, come at 6:30pm for a tour.

Get involved to ensure a successful transition. The PMS PTO is looking for interested parents who would like to serve as a grade representative on the PTO board for 2010-2011.
