According to published reports (MassLive.com, CBS3 Springfield) there was an explosion and fire at an LNG facility in Western Massachusetts yesterday morning when a heater used in the liquefaction process malfunctioned. No injuries were reported, but witnesses described a 100-foot-tall fireball.
