As I mentioned last week, Portsmouth Community Theatre is currently featuring The Fantasticks tonight and tomorrow at 8pm, with a 2pm matinee Sunday. We saw it with our 10-year-old last week and had a great time.

Seating is limited, so you'll want to call 401-683-1460 for reservations. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children, seniors, students, and military. More info on the Portsmouth Community Theater Web site.

Also this weekend in Newport, Portsmouth musician Diane Myers will be performing in the ensemble cast of the musical revue "American Songbook." In an e-mail, Myers said, "This is a fun show...and a fun cast with a lot of talent." All proceeds benefit the Episcopal charities. After the Newport run, the show will make stops in East Greenwich and Providence.

Tomorrow and Saturday at 7:30 and 2pm Sunday at the Emmanuel Church in Newport. Tickets available at the door. You can RSVP on Facebook.

And remember, Sunday is the Portsmouth Little League Opening Day ceremony at noon in Glen Park. See you there!
