George Alzaibak, candidate for the district 71 RI house seat currently held by John Loughlin, will be holding a fundraiser and "meet the candidate" tomorrow night (April 12) according to a posting on his Facebook page. The event will be from 6-8pm at the Stone Bridge Restaurant, 1848 Main Road in Tiverton. You can RSVP on Facebook.

An aside: Why is it that in the days of Google, you can't find a street-accurate map of Rhode Island's legislative districts online? I mean, look at that map in the link above — who can figure out where the boundaries are? (Not to mention *why* the boundaries are drawn that way.)
