It turned out to be a beautiful day, and the Norman Bird Sanctuary was packed this afternoon with folks having a great time at the annual Harvest Fair.

Yeah, the rain yesterday took its toll, forcing the closure of the parking lots and causing some long queues for the shuttles from Second Beach. But the sun was out, the bands were rocking, and the kettle corn was delicious.

Jack picked up a cool pair of earrings for his mom from Frajeelai in the arts & crafts tent, and must have tried climbing the rope ladder about a dozen times.

And now, you know it must really be autumn: Frosty Freeze is shuttered, the Harvest Fair is over, and soon, Flo's will close for the season.
