Conservation trolley tour on Thursday

The Aquidneck Island Land Trust (AILT) is holding a trolley tour of conservation projects this Thursday, August 6, from 5-6:30pm, departing from their office at 790 Aquidneck Avenue, Middletown.

From the description on the AILT Web site: "Hop aboard an old-fashioned trolley and discover the past, present, and future of conservation on Aquidneck Island. Led by Executive Director Ted Clement, the tours visit protected working farms, wildlife habitats, outdoor recreation areas, and scenic vistas on the Island. Discover first-hand the magnitude of AILT’s work, see our conservation projects up close, and learn what’s at risk."

Light refreshments will be served at Sweet Berry Farm. Space is limited, so you'll need to RSVP to Courtney Huth at 849-2799, ext. 19 or at chuth@ailt.org

Full disclosure: When I remember to pay my dues, I'm a member of AILT.
