The Rhode Island Blood Center (RIBC) is holding a blood drive in Portsmouth this Wednesday, August 5, from 10:30am to 1:30pm at the Visting Nurse Services (VNS) office at 1184 East Main Road. You can sign up for an appointment at the RIBC Web site. Can't make it Wednesday? You can always pop down to the center in Middletown.

There's never a bad time to give blood. I don't get there as often as I should, but try to donate a couple of times a year. Hope you'll consider it too.
