New York Times bestselling Portsmouth romance novelist Marie Force is sponsoring a reader contest to accompany the publication of her latest book, Time for Love, according to a release sent to media today.

Gansett Island, a fictional version of Block Island, is once again the setting for Force's latest novel, the ninth book in the "McCarthys of Gansett Island" series. The 28th novel by Force, a Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author, is currently available for pre-order for Kindle and iBookstore e-readers and in print at Amazon. On July 23 it will be available for Nook and Kobo readers. 

Time for Love tells the story of the island's doctor, Dr. David Lawrence and Daisy Babson, the head of housekeeping at McCarthys Gansett Island Inn. Broken hearts, abusive relationships and a chance at redemption make this novel one of Force's most moving stories yet.

Waiting for Love, the previous book in the series, was released last February and debuted on the New York Times bestseller list at number 6 for e-books and number 11 overall, the USA Today bestseller list at number 15 and the Wall Street Journal bestseller list at number 6 for e-books.

Marie Force is also sponsoring a reader contest to coincide with the release of Time for Love. The contest will run from July 23 through midnight EDT on July 31.  First prize will receive an all-expense paid trip to Force's 2014 Memorial Day Reader Weekend in Rhode Island, which includes a day in Block Island, the inspiration for Gansett Island.
