On February 12, a dozen local high school students will head to Chevru, India on a on a humanitarian mission to help complete 40 homes in one of the poorest areas in the country, and you can follow along on their blog at indiainfinityvolunteers.blogspot.com.
The group, led by former PHS teacher Kim Cunningham, will be doing construction work, visiting an AIDS compound and painting a "Healing Mural" with the residents, conducting a Wound Care clinic and distributing care packages to the 60 families in the village, and visiting schools and an orphanage to distribute school supplies and clothing.
Very proud of these kids, and I know we all wish them safe travels. I'll be following along, and hope you will to.
