Breaking: Has Portsmouth School vice-chair Jonathan Harris resigned? [Update]

According to an e-mail obtained by harddeadlines, Portsmouth School Committee vice-chair Jonathan Harris has resigned, "effective today." Mr. Harris has not yet responded to an e-mail seeking confirmation.

Update: Portsmouth Patch has confirmed with Harris.

Just wondering which untrustworthy Democrat forwarded you this e-mail as it is clear it only went to the school committee and town council members in confidence? Was it Croston? Was it Seveney? Was it Buddemeyer? You couldn't wait to post it now tell the truth on where you obtained it from.

As a reporter, obviously, I'm not going to reveal any sources.

I do want to point out that before I published this, I sent an e-mail to Mr. Harris seeking confirmation, which he chose not to respond to, although he did reply to an e-mail from Patch, based on the story posted there.

Also, how would *you* know to whom the e-mail was addressed, unless you were either one of the recipients or the sender?

Didn't figure you would divulge your source as there are so many crooked Democrats it would be any one of many.
As far as you being a "reporter" it doesn't appear that you are too bright. The letter is address to "The Honorable Members of the Portsmouth Town Council and the Portsmouth School Committee". Last I knew you were not honorable, not a member of the Town Council or a member of the School Committee. So Mr. McDaid how in fact did you receive this letter?
