Firefighters from Portsmouth, Tiverton, and Little Compton responded to a fire in the Island Park section of Portsmouth this morning, where a house at 20 Oak Street was seriously damaged. One person, who was seen to be conscious and talking with rescuers, was transported by ambulance.
