Tomorrow, Friday May 7, is the annual Hidden Kitchens of Portsmouth tour to benefit the Portsmouth Public Education Foundation (PPEF). For just $25, you'll not only get to see six of Portsmouth's fabulous kitchens, but you'll be treated to tastings from great local restaurants and shops.

Online sales end tonight at 5pm, but some tickets will be available tomorrow at Clements Market. And while you're thinking about it, why not pick up one of the delightful Kitchen Tour aprons, featuring the now-iconic chef? Just in time for Mother's Day (hint, hint). A package of two tickets and the apron is just $65.

This is the major fundraiser for the PPEF, which makes over $10K in grants each year directly to teachers in our public schools for innovative classroom projects. Learn about PPEF at the web site or Facebook page.

Full disclosure: I serve on the PPEF board.

Update: See the a very nice writeup in the Fall River Herald News and a brief mention (for completists only) in the Projo.
